山蚕又名天虫，在山峦中生长40余天，排净蚕砂，吐丝作茧，为人类贡献出高质量的蚕丝。春蚕到死丝方尽，山蚕把一生奉献给人们的美好生活。

Mountain silkworms, also known as celestial worms, grow in the mountains for more than 40 days. They provide high quality silk by emptying silkworm excrement and spinning silk. Until the end of their lives, silkworms keep spinning silk. They dedicate their lives to the good of people.

古法纩丝选用地下温泉泡茧，既保证水质洁净，又省去煮茧耗能工序，威海历史上曾出现“哪里有温泉，哪里就有纩丝坊”的现象。

The ancient silk wadding technique uses underground hot springs to soak cocoons, which not only ensures clean water quality, but also saves the energy-consuming process of cocoon cooking. Throughout Weihai’s history, it has been said that “where there are hot springs, there are silk wadding workshops.”

每个蚕茧，由一根蚕丝织成，长度可达1500米。纩丝工需净心净手，摒除欲念，才能心神专一，精准索绪，抽出丝头。

Each silkworm cocoon is woven from a single piece silk, which can be up to 1,500 meters long. The silk worker needs to clear their mind and be free of distractions in order to accurately thread and pull out the silk end .

取数粒蚕茧，将抽出的丝头均匀排布，捻合在一起，通过转动胶东古法纩丝机，就生成一根洁净无瑕的生丝。
